Striker who started his career at Queens Park Rangers. Joined Wycombe Wanderers in the 1973/74 season where he made 73 appearances before joining Crystal Palace in 1976. Transfered to Plymouth Argyle a year later before having spells at Portsmouth and Hillingdon Borough. Rejoined Wycombe in 1982. Signed for St Albans City at the start of the 1985/86 season. Scored 4 goals in Saints 7-1 win at Lewes which clinched promotion to the Isthmian Premier League in 1986.
After retiring from football Steve was a primary school teacher and more recently headmaster at Bushey Heath Primary School.
