Move to:
Eric Carvill
A forward who scored seven times in 27 appearances for St Albans City.

Made his debut in the Midweek Premier League as City defeated Edmonton in November 1974, but it was not until the start of the 1978-79 season that he became a regular in the team.

His first goals were a brace against Southall on 26 September 1978, George Cooper also scored twice that day on his City debut.

Eric lost his place in the side following a defeat to Bishop’s Stortford in mid December and made just one more appearance, in March, before moving home to Somerset.

As a youngster he played for prominent youth side Carlton and then for Hemel Hempstead prior to his second spell at Clarence Park. After leaving St Albans he had a short spell with Yeovil Town, from there he moved to Taunton Town for two years and then had a further ten years with Bridport.
