Jack Rainsden
Jack Rainsden made six first team and over thirty reserve team appearances for City between 1908 and 1914. He also played for St Albans Abbey as well as playing cricket and football for St Michaels.
Despite being married with three children and aged over 30, he volunteered for active service during the early days of the Great War only to lose his life in 1916.
