Ben Abbey
Ben Abbey - Forward: On his day an exciting attacker who can trouble any defence who was discovered by Alan Devonshire at Osterley.

The former West Ham star then took him to Maidenhead United with him before he moved onto Crawley Town in October 1997.

Ben began to attract attention with his performances and he eventually moved to Oxford for £35,000 in September 1999. He never quite settled at Oxford and switched to Southend a year later.

Spells with Stevenage Borough and Woking followed before he was handed another League chance with Macclesfield in March 2003.

Was released at the end of the 2002/03 season and joined Gravesend in July '03. Ben transferred to St Albans City in September 2004 where he scored one goal in three appearances.
