Midfielder who joined The Saints in August 1967 after spells at Hayes, Wycombe Wanderers, Watford and Hendon. Played eleven games scoring one goal in a 1-1 draw away to Chesham United.
Returned to Hayes before finishing his playing career at Wimbledon.
Went on to have a successful managerial career at Wimbledon, Watford, Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Barnsley and Leicester City.
