Bill Hussey
Born in Romford Bill played for Pioneer youth club in Romford scoring over 60 goals in a season as a 16 year old. He went on to play for Romford before the war intervened.
Played for the RAF when stationed in India during the war.
Came to work at De Havillands, Hatfield in 1945 after the war and played for them in the London League before joining St Albans City. He eased off on the football when his daughter was born in 1953 and went to play for Stevenage in the Delphian League until he retired in 1955 aged 34.
