A right-back who played in ten of the first eleven competitive games of St Albans City following the formation of the club in 1908.
Picked up a bad knee injury during a 1-1 draw with Walthamstow Grange at the Park on 16th January 1909 and did not play for the club again.
Prior to St Albans he played for Victoria Works in his hometown of Watford. He was also hon. secretary to that club.
Born shortly before the formation of the original St Albans Football Club in 1882, he passed away in Watford in 1953.
