Newportonians founded 1895. Took their name from Newport Road Board School (being tonians they were an Old Boys club). Played their games at the Hare and Hounds Ground in Lea Bridge Road which is where Leyton/Leyton Wingate used to play, the ground is still there. They had a season at The Rolls in Higham Park but also played a lot of their home matches away on the oppositions ground. Ceased to be in 1936
